Toy Girls - Catalogue Series 107: Doremi Harukaze

    A day, late, but luckily it wasn’t a cancellation. I’m the Master of Cuteness, mickeyelric11, with another work for the Toy Girls’ Catalogue Series. Please don’t forget my Donation Pool.

    We have highly associated witchcraft with females in popular culture. Even if we got our male witches, most of the time we see women, chicks and girls with a magic wand, a pointy hat, flying brooms, etc. Even the word “witch” promptly makes an image of a female to pop out in our minds. Therefore, we have got many and many TV Shows, cartoons, comics, and even animés featuring girl witches as the protagonist, like this one, which gave us this character. For this Sunday:

    Doremi Harukaze, from “Magical Doremi”, a request for my dear friend

    Even if I was a boy, I actually watched the first episodes of this anime when it aired in a public channel. It was…at a wrong time for me. I was in a very chauvinist mood with respect to girl cartoons, and the show really didn’t offer me something interesting. However, I still admit that it got a very nice premise and even some good inputs to the Witch Theme; I even watched the last episode.

    Many of the running gags were kind of corny, and there was an obvious from “Sailor Moon”, but it was cute and harmless.

    So, let’s pass to the character.

    …she was funny.

      In her defense, she was kind of memorable thanks to her goofy attitude and over-the-top reactions, like with Serena…

    Let’s pass to the next stuff with Doremi Harukaze being a Toy Girl now.

    To represent her genki personality, I looked for sample of poses in You Tube, and at the end I found as the best choice to have her making double “V’s” while smiling.

    At first, I was planning to draw her on her causal clothing, but then I realized that the witch outfit was 10 times better.

    I really need to find something interesting to say on this last part. Meanwhile… because “Cuteness shall last”
