Scenes of Life - Photography

            Thursday! We’re in the middle of the week and of this project. So, welcome back to “Scenes of Life”, with the fourth installment of this miniseries.

            Now we deal with the famous Parr Kids, in a little scene I have named like “Photography”.

            Since their invention, photos have given us the opportunity to immortalize moments in paper; nowadays, we can even do that in digital format. Thanks to this media, we are able to make portraits of good memories, and family moments are no exception for this; especially if we talk about sisters and brothers.

            I remember that my dad was a great fan of taking photos. We still have boxes full of printed pictures from different moments of our life. And yes, that include photographs with my sisters and me.  It just gives me a good feeling to see images featuring us like kids, considering that nowadays we are all adults.

            When I had to pick a pair of siblings for this scene, I opted for Violet and Dash Parr, because I really wanted to put these two again in a nice scene, and considering their ages, I thought they would make a really cute moment.

            In this drawing, the Parr are spending a Saturday afternoon at the park. They had a picnic, played baseball, football, and even catching a Frisbee, ate ice-cream, and even just sat under a tree shadow to relax.  Also, Bob and Helen were so impressed how well Violet and Dash got along that day. They didn’t fight or bicker, but instead they played together, talk with one another, and even Dash shared his double ice-cream when Violet dropped hers; yes, I just said that. So, to immortalize this rare occasion, Bob, the father indeed, took out his reflex camera and told his kids to pose for a photo. Because of what a good they these two had, they hugged with a lot of charm.

            Because neither Violet nor Dash had a really memorable casual outfit, I dressed them up here in an original way, especially because I wanted to put Violet in a skirt; she looks so pretty. Also, to reinforce the concept of photography, I of course overlaid a camera view from a reflex camera, I even added a black frame, data icons in the bottom, and even put some of the squares from the view in flashing red to represent that the camera was focusing.

            Well, Thursday is over so early, so let’s wait for the next one
