Hi, everyone, here mcickeyelric11 again, following this miniseries I made up “PIXAR’s and CGI Disney Easter Eggs”, where I’m going to upload all the Easter Eggs I hid on my work Violet and Dash – Looking for comfort (Digital Remake), because most of them are pretty well designed, and for the darkness of the scene you couldn’t appreciate so good. So here’s the next one:
Last year, I decided to any cost see “Frozen”, because, since I saw Wreck-it Ralph the year before, and having watching The Princess and the Frog and Tangled, I realized Disney has entered in a New Renaissance., what I like to call, based in a comment of a Youtuber I have met, The Disney Revival. So, I wanted to check this movie, to see if this period was still going or this was the equivalent of The Aristocats or Fantasia 2000.
So, I ended my semester, winter was starting, and I went to the cinema the first weekend of the premiere. And boy…THE PERIOD WAS STILLL ALIVE! I loved so much the movie: the animation was breathtaking, the characters were so great, and it was a so funny movie.
In my personal taste, I rather winter than summer, and I love so much the snow sceneries, so this movie was a delight to watch (and the fact it premiered in winter, and I watched it in a cold rainy night, it was a great experience).
Talking about the characters, I liked so much Elsa, not only for her great personality, but also for her great ice powers. Maybe it’s never explained how she got them, a great flow for the movie in my opinion, but how she can create ice and snow from nowhere, freeze so easily a big area, make sentient ice living beings, and even bring an eternal winter to her kingdom, I consider her one of the Most Powerful Disney Characters: she would make a great superhero in my opinion.
So, with all that, even belonging to CGI Disney, I decided to put her, along with her sister, like an Easter Egg.
First, I wanted to put the Doll Dresses with the design of the ones of Elsa and Anna, but then I think: why don’t I put both of the like rag dolls instead?! Even many of us see them like a so basic and cheap toy, that can have a scaring and ugly design, we have to admit that there are some of them can look so great: you can give them a nice simple face with paint, made them pretty clothing, and look so beautiful. So, with all those thing on my mind, I drawn Elsa and Anna as dolls. Here you can see Elsa.
Here, the hardest thing was to make the hair, because I have to find a way to simplify the design for the 2D work. The detail I liked the most here were the sparkles on the dress.
Soon you will see Anna’s doll, but I hope you like this work. See you!
