Edward Elric and Mickey Mouse. Legacy of the 11

Hi, everyone in deviantART. I just want to tell you the next: this summer I propose to make as much works I can to publish here in deviantART, considering that I really doubt I will travel this holidays . But, I digress.

Here you can see another work to represent my username, like another crossover of these two great characters: “Mickey” Mouse and Edward “Elric”. This time, what I wanted to make is a kind of Acatar for my account here, but this time more personal, representing my username “mickeyelric11”. The reason why I used an image of Shinji Ikari before, without having nothing to see with my name, well…let’s explain this work, instead XD.

Here I consider the element “11” that I found hard to represent cleverly in a work of these. But then I got this idea: represent the two 1’s like pillars, and put behind of them the characters looking at each other, with a black background, thinking about the dark in theaters and cinemas. While making the sketch, I imagined a light between the 1’s, so I made the shades on the characters according to that light, and it was really hard (because all the images of these characters in the web have an illumination from above). Finally, I put my username at the bottom all in Capitals and in an elegant font.

Then, you can see a funny thing: while you have the name down, you have it represented it with images over .

It was really hard, but I just wanted to finish it to start the new project I got in mind after I discovering a really great animated series in You Tube. Wait for it!

Edward Elric belongs to BONES.
